Moving Data Files From Server to Network Location

Overview - Current server is Win 2008 64-bit running Oracle 10g 10.2.0.4.0. I have two databases on the server (which was probably a mistake from day one). The first is our Production database (we'll call it PROD). The second we will call PILOT. PILOT is a copy of PROD which is usually a month or so out of date and is used primarily for testing database changes via a vendor application.

Issue - We are quickly running out of disk space and our night RMAN backups are choking. I am having to weekly cleanup things but it is getting crtitical. I would like to move the PILOT database data files (about 40GB) off the server to a network location.
