I'm perplexed by a seeming inconsistency between the SDEF user manual for v6.x and the actual abilities of the product.
I think I'm being told to create a global code for FOW that is 30 characters long. The software itself does not allow me to have a single code with values greater than 20 characters.
Is anyone else out there working with the DOD using Project Management? Am I misreading this?

Ohhh, maybe I did mis-read. It appears that the Code Value is exported for all but the FOW, which exports the code Description. Sadly/happily, the length of the description can be much longer than 30 characters, and there is no way to programatically limit the number of characters in the code value description.
