Member Browser and Worksheet Sort Order

Is it possible to control the sort order of the member browser and worksheets?

Our users expect the following:

Expect:

 

                        N9020A

                        N9020AK

 

Get:

 

                        N9020AK

                        N9020A

The same would apply if the items were shown on a worksheet instead of in the member browser.
