How to track components of purchased item in Installbase?

the business case is vendor purchases the assembly and sells to customers and also do aftersales service.

the item is set as trackable in installbase. I also set up two components in the bill of this item for track in installbase.

But I cant track the components of item even if these components are to be tracked in installbase.

Did I did any wrong in the setup?
