business analysis of sales of configured item

 I want to know the most popular configurations sold in the last quarter from a specific ATO model. But even if I choose the same options, the configured item is created with different item code.

Because of this, I am finding difficult to analyse what are the most popular configurations. If I know the mostly asked combinations I want to create them as predefined items.
