The logical standby database is a subset of production database as due to business requirements
we are not syncing up the entire production database and instead skipping a couple of schemas

We are using conventional hot backups (not using RMAN) to backup the production database

The question is that if for any reasons (e.g. lets assume media failure) we need to perform
a recovery of the production database, how would it impact the logical standby? Are there
any additional steps we need to take (on logical standby) before we perform the recovery on production  to ensure that the logical standby

Howdy, Stranger!
