Pricing Date same as Actual Shipment Date

 Hi All,
Is there a way we can set the pricing date to be same as actual shipping date on sales order. Our client has a requirement to backdate shipping transactions because of the delay in receiving shipment information. They want the pricing date on sales order to be same as the actual shipment date entered while ship confirmation.
