Delete by batch using SQLPLUS is very slow

After we upgrade our DB from 9i R2 to 11G R2 + RAC (2 nodes) + 1 Active Dataguard, delete by batch using SQLPLUS is very slow.
Any ideas what could be the reason?

 DB 11.2.
OS Sun Sparc 64
