Oracle Data Quality for Data Integrator 10g Release 3’ installed and configured with server and databases on on Solaris 10 and client on Windows XP.

In the process of creating an ENTITY for the data profiling job could not import data from an Oracle database.

Our data source type is Oracle and we created a loader connection in the Metabase Manager and then used the wizard in ‘Oracle Data Profiling and Quality’ to create an ENTITY.  In step 3 of 4 for the wizard, we specified first hundred rows.  But a dynamic entity was created with no DSDs and additionally, profiling information was missing at the attribute level.  The application does not allow us to re-analyze or conduct statistical tests either.  These menu items are not available.

Howdy, Stranger!
