Diagnostic summery and space summery are not refreshed

 We upgraded our ERP (non oracle), while not upgrading the oracle (we have 10.2.0.4.0) and since then the diagnostic summery and space summery were not refreshed. 

I get the following from the Metric Collection Errors window:

Your managed target has encountered metric evaluation errors. These errors are usually due to installation or configuration issues.

Otherwise all look well.  There are new snapshots every hour, the performance window presents live sessions, the administration tools work.  Any idea why no new alerts are displayed and space violations are frozen in time?
