Windows Large Page

Dear all
Environment: Windows 2008 x64 Enterprise Edition / Oracle 11g 10.0.7.0

Should large page size equal to large page request size?
Sometimes I have also the following problem, if large page is enabled the instance has a very long time to start (about 1 hour) --> cause the instance is allocation the memory very slow...
workarround: reboot the server and the startup takes only seconds....


any ideas how to fix this?
