Program is taking time for few days and then it is behaving normal

We have a program which runs on first five working days of a month at 16:10. Same program runs from first working day to 10th working day of the month with same parameters at 12:10. In short, first five days of a month, program is running twice a day with same sets of parameters. Once at 12:10 and another one at 16:10.

From May-10 to Jul-10, we faced the issue that 16:10 program was taking long time. Average completion time for program is 20-30 minutes but it was taking more than 50 minutes for 16:10 run. 12:10 run was behaving normal.

In Aug-10, both programs are running normal within expected timeline.
