Vertex August Monthly Data Update and Arizona Employees
With the August update, Vertex has physically changed their database based on a percentage of taxable gross. Making this change forced EnterpriseOne to make code changes to the B0701730 business function to recognize the tax rates based on taxable gross.
Impact to customers with employees paid in Arizona: The Vertex August update AND the E1 business function that generates the F0701730 MUST be in sync. Otherwise, 6 records will be missing in the F0701730 related to the existing Arizona tax rates.
It is recommended that the Vertex August monthly update not be applied until the applicable SAR can be applied.
