Did you know that the Item Search is really two different programs that share the same video screen?

When you go into the Item Search, you have a choice to use the regular (non-query) search, or to F16 for the Query search. The non-query search runs over the compressed search text fields in the F4101 Item Master, F4101D Item Master Alternate Description, and the F4104 Item Cross Reference. The query search runs over the F00X41 Item Word Search Master. Because they search different files, the results will be different. Another distinction is that when you add a new inventory item, it is automatically available in the non-query search, but the P41BDWRD Build Word File has to be run before the new item will work in the
