Oracle Client 9i and Windows 7

 Hello friends,
I just have a question about compatibility...Look, here in my company, we have some applications that are running with Oracle 9i so recently we bought son LapTops with Windows 7 installed, so my question is: Can i installe the Oracle Client 9i on this machines with windows 7?

I'm asking it because i'm having troubles when i try to install it.

I hope you can let me know if it's possible or what can i do instead of it...

Remember that the company don't want to upgrade into a new Oracle version so we must continue using Oracle 9i for now.
