exadata backups via infiniband

 Hello,

 I need to setup backups via infiniband for the exadata to a media server, how do I administer the sun switch within to verify ports are active? Cables seated but no green lights.  If anyone has successfully set this up for netbackup any tips tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
