Item with different description

 To All,

  A user make a PR , PO & received the item in inventory. The problem is the Item which he receives in Inventory has different description which is define in PR & PO the user directly change the description in Master Item.
 Now the Item description is change in Master Item while in inventory the same item description is different.

 What will be the work around for this scenario?
