UCM Batch Manager stuck

Hi all. We're trying to run a UCM Batch Mgr job, and everything seems to work, just that it gets stuck on status "Invoking method RunProcess for service Workflow Process Manager"
We left it running for an hour. Nothing happened, but then we checked the log file. And we had the following two lines repeated 20k+ times:

(fasvcciftransmgr.cpp (762)) SBL-IAI-00436: CIF Transaction Mgr Failed to find System Id in input message
(fasvcciftransmgr.cpp (515)) SBL-IAI-00436: <?> Failed to find System Id in input message

and that was all the log message. Do you have any idea what could be wrong here?
