ORacle VM Server single NIC bridge netowrking steps needed

 I have installed Oracle VM Server and Oracle VM Manager. In addition I have also deployed a basic linux server ( from the Oracle Templates ) into the Oracle VM Server as a guest operating system.

I am able to remote log into the Oracle VM Server via ssh. The guest operating system is brought up without any external networking.

How do I do basic bridge networking with a single NIC on the VM server ? I have done this on VMware earlier where I setup a second IP address on the host  OS and use that IP as the gateway on the Gues OS.
