legal entity split in R12

 We have a requirement where we need to split legal entity into different ledgers.

currently we have one ledger with two legal entities. One of the legal entity needs to be split and made as part of new ledger. what are possible ways in which we can achieve this?

One way we have identified is as follows

ü  End date the OUs associated to IO under it.  End dating LE means essentially the OUs under it should also be not used any more.  This step is to achieve the same.

ü  End date the BSV assignment to LE.  If BSVs are assigned to LEs, then end date the same so that the BSVs cannot be used further.
