Grid Control On Windows Question

in Enterprise Manager Generic (MOSC) Question
  Hi,

 

Background – We were an AIX shop and are moving to Windows 2008 64bit, using 11g R2 databases. I mention this because our lack of familiarity may well be the source of our problems.

 

This is the first time we have set up Grid Control and it is setup on Windows 2008 32bit using the latest Grid Control available for that system (11.1.0.1).  Repository is 11.2.0.1 on the same machine. Apparently, because it is Windows, the only version available is 32bit.

 

My questions have to do with the alerts that seem to appear complaining about file permissions which I can’t seem to get right. I am getting a number of alerts from all of the targets I have installed concerning permissions being incorrectly set.
