"Do You Know" how the Skip to Comp Line No. works in the Bill of Materials?

edited Sep 8, 2010 10:22AM in JDEdwards World (MOSC)
The Component Line Number field has been around for years. It's a very useful tool for large Bills of Materials. The way that this field works is predicated on how the processing option for Component Sequencing is populated within the P3002 Bills of Material.

If COMPONENT SEQUENCING is populated with a 1 to sequence by component line number (CPNT), then Skip to Comp Line will skip to a specific component line number when populated.

If COMPONENT SEQUENCING is populated with a 2 to sequence by operation sequence number (OPSQ), then Skip to Comp Line will skip to a specific operation sequence number.

Howdy, Stranger!
