install e-business suite 12.1 on powerful laptop

Dear Guru,
I am new in this EBS and I'd like to know your experience on whether you have done the above before.

I am thinking to install it on a HP 8GB RAM laptop on Windows 2008 R2 64bits.

Is there any common prob that I need to take note and is it workable?
