Why would jdeRetrieveDataPrt not be able to get a valid pointer?

   Hello,

Why would the system get a null pointer?

 

Issue:  Running P4310. Enter item, qty and arrow down and user sees error:

Null Pointer

  A form level error has occurred.

CAUSE: The pointer has a null value.

RESOLUTION: Check to be sure that pointer contains a value.

 

Error from P4310, when F4311EditLIne is called.

Not every user is having this issue.

We upgraded to JDE 9.0 Nov. 9, 2009 and many POs have been created with out issue for 9 months.

This issue just started happening last week.
