FA Web ADI overrides default setting in Assets Category form

Hi,

   We have created an asset category of CAPITAL SUPPLIES-NON DEPRECIABLE in the Asset Categories form. For this category the Depreciate checkbox was unmarked. But when we used the Web ADI to upload assets the Depreciate field was set and this overrides the default setting made in the Asset Categories form. Is this a functionality of the Web ADI? It overrides the default setting made in the Asset Categories form? Please advise.
