"External Tag" entries in the KMS does not match external tape volsers

Hi,

We have about  87 data units in our KMS where the "External Tag" entry does not match the external volser. They start with 0Q instead of Q0.  

For example,

In the KMS, we have an entry for 0Q3338 which we would expect to see Q03383. We are able to read the tape with no issue.

What would cause the external tag to be be jumbled in this way?
