Hummingbird 5.3 to Hummingbird 6.0 Upgrade for 7.8.2.14 patch

  My company is in the process of moving from Siebel 7.8.2.11 and Oracle 9i to 7.8.2.14 and 10g for IE8 certification. But in the process we need to upgrade our Siebel search using Hummingbird 5.3 to the Hummingbird 6.0 for 10g support. Has anyone else done this and have any good pointers? The documentation for installing Hummingbird 6.0 isn't really out there from Oracle and the included documentation from Hummingbird doesn't really give troubleshooting tips - just basic install instructions.  I'm stuck on creating the Siebel Search ODBC for hummingbird and then, per the Hummingbird docs, upgrading the 5.3 index to 6.0 version.
