Grid Patch Reports show mixed Platforms

I have grid control 10.2.0.5 (db is 10.1.0.4).  The patch reports show a SPARC platform.  I only have an AIX platform. The source table is : mgmt$em_homes_platform and it shows SPARC for some homes and AIX for others.  Has anyone else seen this?  Could generic patches (not unique to AIX) show up here as SPARC?
