submitting data using ad hoc in Planning

I would like to submit data in Hyperion Planning using ad hoc. I have created a spreadsheet with comments and totals and it works fine if I change the numbers and submit. However, I want to send this sheet to some users who do not have access to Planning have them input their changes and send back to me to submit. This only seems to work if there are no commnets or totals. 

Any ideas on an easy way to do this ?
