Hi everybody,

I am a bit confused right now. Regarding to all documents about running Oracle 10gR2 on Windows Server 2003 i conclude that 10.2.0.3 is not supported and I should use 10.2.0.4. Am I correct that 10.2.0.3 is not certified/supported on Windows Server 2008?

Directions at download site state that after installing 10.2.0.3 version of oracle software, 10.2.0.4 should be applied. Document "Oracle Database Release Notes 10g Release 2 (10.2) for Microsoft Windows (x64)" also says: "Oracle Database is supported on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 with the 10.2.0.4 release".

Our client says that 10.2.0.3 is supported on mentioned OS, but i think he is wrong.

So, question here is: Is Oracle 10.2.0.3 certified/supported on MS Windows Server 2008?

Howdy, Stranger!
