Should I move to a Windows plaform for HR/Payroll?

Hi

We are a Government site that uses E Business and are also using Oracle Payroll/HR.We are on a sun solaris (unix) platform and our DBA area are wanting us to move to a windows server. I was wondering if I could hear from any other Australian sites that are currently using Oracle HR/Payroll  and what platform they are on, and any good and bad experiences. Any feedback greatly appreciated.
