SetAttribute method in case of multiple instances of the same product.

Hi All

We need to set an attribute value via script in the eConfigurator. The attribute belongs to a product which has multiple instances in the configuration session. How do we target a particular instance of the product only while setting the attribute value using scripting. Also please mention any workarounds (without and fix packs etc) that may exist to achieve the similar functionality.

We are on Siebel 7.8.2.3 [19221]
