Determine Place of Supply - Location Types?

 When you define a Determine of Place of Supply Rule, there are a number of location types:

Bill From

Bill To

Point of Acceptance (Receivables transactions only)

Point of Origin (Receivables transactions only)

Point of Payment

Ship From

Ship To

Use Bill To as Ship To, if Ship To is not found

We have both AP and AR implemented so i was thinking that from an AP's point of view, the place of supply is the Bill To but from an AR's point of view, the place of supply is the Bill From?

Can anyone clarify? How do we use these location types?
