Acknowledgments as a Business Purpose

 Has anyone used "Acknowledgments" as a business purposes on the account site?

We had someone put it on a site in error and now it seems to be causing a problem with a reporting tool we use.  We inactivated it but that didn't help.  Is there anyway to delete a business purpose?
