FA - Data Conversion

Hi,

We are implementing FA in EBS 11.5.10.2. Depreciation Method is Straight Line based on Life of the Asset.

As part of conversion from Legacy System, we are using WEB ADI to convert existing Assets in Oracle. There are few Assets with DPIS of 1960 and Life of 25 Years. However, since there were modernization and renovation expenses on these Assets, they still have a high NBV.

As per Oracle these Assets are already depreciated fully and hence in the 1st Month of Depreciation IN Oracle after Go-Live, remaining NBV is completely charged off as depreciation in 1st Period.

Is there any workaround available to overcome this situation and apportion NBV over remaining life of the Asset?
