How to get the detail Item Supply Demand history information?

 I am trying to find a way to dig the Item Supply Demand history for some Items.

I tired the Inventory " Compile Demand Hisotry"  job. It finished with no error. I tried for different Buckket Size( Period Type). The jobs finished fine but there is no data when I tried view the result from the " Demand History" window.

Could any body give some help?  Should I do some setup before I ran the Comiple? Or is thers any better way to get the information, maybe SQL?
