Do I have to remove branch Quick Fix before applying the Fix Pack

 I have a customer who is on 8.0.0.7+QF4703. But when he tried to apply the patch 8.0.0.9 he is getting the incompatible error.
When I checked the QF4703, it is branch quick fix . So do i have to uninstall the bracnh quick fix before appying the Fix PAck?
