Security settings for CRM user

 Hi,

Sales staff are requesting editing access to colleagues contacts and accounts etc.

'Read, edit, delete' access has been granted which successfully allows users to delete other owners records but not edit for some reason.

The following message is produced when attempting to edit a record owned by another user within CRM 'Access Denied SBL-DAT-00279'

Any suggestions please?
