R12855 not picking up the new responsible business unit

Current release is E1 8.11 SP but preparing to migrate to E1 9.0 and also tested there.

Fixed Asset Constants  Depreciation expense is set to responsible business unit.

When we create a new asset and run R12855 works fine.  We run our depreciation monthly.  When we change the reponsible business unit and run R12855 to create the new depreciation, the new responsible business unit is not picked up.  instead the accounting remains on the old responsible business unit.

Any idea would be greatly appreciated, to me it looks like a bug.
