Depreciation start date and date placed in service

 Hi,

 Can we update the Depreciation start date and date placed in service columns after we load the assets? We dont want to calculate the depreciation unless we feed the date.

For eg: We rented some trucks which we treated as assets and we want to calculate depreciation only when these trucks are in service
