Device mapping changed after reboot of RAC nodes
Hi
We have configured a brand new 2 node 11g R2 RAC on Oracle Linux 5.5
we have ASMLib installed and configured
#uname -rm
2.6.18-194.el5 x86_64
# rpm -qa |grep asm
oracleasm-2.6.18-194.el5-2.0.5-1.el5
oracleasm-support-2.1.3-1.el5
oracleasmlib-2.0.4-1.el5
The system has been up and running for 2 days
The device we used for shared storage for OCR / data files etc were as follows
/dev/sda1 --> for DATA Disk Group
/dev/sdb1 --> for FRA Disk Group
/dev/sdc1 --> for ARC Disk Group
After rebooting both the noes, the device mappping (fdisk -l) is now showing
/dev/sdx1
