LD: Need info regarding effort reporting approvals process in LD

We have just implemented the Labor Distribution Effort Reporting functionality on 11.5.10.2. There is some question regarding whether the standard out-of-the-box approvals process is in compliance with federal government regulations. So I would like to know if there are other organizations in the Oracle EBS community who are using this standard functionality and what, if any customizations were necessary to become compliant. Any information that anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.
