I have a question actually for FV (Federal Financial) group. The reason I put it in GL group is that there is no FV group in this forum, which I think needs to be added.
In FV there is a form called fund available (navigation: inquiry--> fund available). In this form there are three fields in 'Fund available' block: Budget authority, Total actuals and funds available.
There are 3 USSGL accounts feed into this form, I think, 4611 (Allotments - Realized Resouces Initial), 4612 (Allotments - Realized Resouces activities) and 4801 (Unexpended obligation unpaid).
From what I have learned in Oracle class, field budget authority should be the sum of 4611 and 4612, field total actuals should be sum of 4801. Then fund available should be the difference between the two numbers. Also the fund control would use this number to determine if the amount can pass fund check.
