manual switchover steps for 10.2 dataguard setup

 We want to perform a manual switchover from our primary to our standby (thus making our standby the new primary and the old primary the standby)

Do these steps of action look correct to perform the switchover?

Current Primary: 1)  ALTER DATABASE COMMIT TO SWITCHOVER TO PHYSICAL STANDBY WITH SESSION SHUTDOWN; 2)  SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATE;    5)STARTUP MOUNT    6)ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY     DATABASE       DISCONNECT FROM SESSION;

Current Standby:    3)ALTER DATABASE COMMIT TO SWITCHOVER TO PRIMARY;    4)ALTER DATABASE OPEN;
