Credit Check at Order Line Question

Can the credit check feature be configured to check and apply/release credit holds at the individual order line only?

For example,

At booking for an order with 10 lines, where line 9 causes the customer exposure to exceed their limit, the desired behavior is to place a credit hold on lines 9 and 10 only (Lines 1-8 are clear of credit hold).

Or

At pick release for an order similar to the booking example above, where only line 9 is ready for release, the desired behavior is to place a credit hold on line 9 only.

We are running Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2 and we are starting to look at upgrade to 12.1.3.  We've tested the application behavior with the credit check rule set at the order line level. The resulting behavior indicates the application places a hold on all of the order lines at both booking and/or at pick release.
