Archive log 11G

Hi,

Question on 11G archive log destinations.

Without meaning to, we are sending archive log to log_archive_dest_1 to folder A and log_archive_dest_10 to flash recovery area.  I like to just send to ONLY log_archive_dest to folder B.  I tried with "alter sysem", but got lota errors.  Can this be done only with shutdown, startup, stop archivelog, set log_archive_dest and startup?

I have to say this archive log destination stuff is sooo confusing

Here is output of archive log list  (there is no mention of folder A!)


SQL> archive log list
Database log mode              Archive Mode
