Closing Expense and Revenue Accounts

 Hi,
I want to close my expense accounts and my revenue accounts automatically through one "income and loss" account. I need to do this at the end of every accounting period, not only at the annual close. My question is if it's a functionality in the system or an workaround which can help me with this.
