This info I find in the document Upgrade_Value_Proposition_for_JD_Edwards_World_to_EnterpriseOne_9.0_Update_1.pdf Min/Max Pricing (8.12): Min/Max Pricing gives you new controls over setting limits on the priceof a transaction. This capability fits within the flexible structure of JD Edwards EnterpriseOneAdvanced Pricing { XE "Advanced Pricing" } and as a result, allows a minimum or maximum priceto be controlled using individual items and customers, groupings of items and customers andallows the min/max to be evaluated against a list price or a net price. For example, using this new capability, you could define a minimum price of $99 that you wouldtypically allow for a particular product. If a discount results in a price of $89, the system would increase the price to $99. Depending on your business need, you could evaluate this limit afterall discounts are evaluated, or you could have a special discount for premier customers that thesystem uses after the minimum is checked. This premier customer discount could result in a price below $99.

Howdy, Stranger!
