AIX 6.3 Page Cache Kernel Parameters

 Oracle recommends when using ASM on AIX that Page Cache Kernel be set to (min 2) and (max 20)  % which is a measurement of available memory.  Has anyone gotten nmy pushback from IBM on this change.  Our shop wants proof that this will not hurt the current configuration.  Our issue is that we run out of memory because of the setting (min 3) (max 97) in which aix tries to cache everything and is quite successful.   I'm looking for recommendations at this point.   Thanks! -Mark
