Audit Trail on FA_BOOKS_A not working

 I setup Audit trail on FA_ADDITIONS_B and FA_BOOKS .

After creating  varity of test data  for both tables I noticed that changes are being stored in FA_ADDITIONS_B_A however there were no UPDATES in FA_BOOKS_A table.

In addtion an INSERT is being made in the defult columns in the FA_BOOKS_A table but all the remaining columns are NULL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
